Our students had the privilege of participating in the prestigious Student's Annual Knowledge-sharing Conference (SAKCON 2024), hosted by the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations (CAHO) in collaboration with Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai. This esteemed platform enabled them to showcase their expertise, innovative ideas, and commitment to advancing healthcare management practices.

Our students participated in multiple events, including paper presentations, poster competitions, and the QIMPRO Project presentation. These initiatives highlighted their analytical skills, innovative problem-solving approaches, and dedication to research.

The event also offered a valuable opportunity for students to gain exposure, enhance their understanding of healthcare management issues, and network with industry peers and professionals.

We are proud to announce the outstanding achievements of our students:

• Sourabh: Second Place in the Paper Presentation under the Quality Improvement category for the study titled “A Study on Marking Endoscopy Reuse Items: Implications for Healthcare Quality in a Tertiary Care Hospital.”
• Jyothi: First Place in the Poster Competition under the Patient Safety category for her work “Analysis of OT Scheduling and Patient Transfer Delays – An Observational Study.”
• Rashmi: First Place in the Poster Competition under the Quality Improvement and Operational Excellence category for her study “Study on Competency Identification of Nurses through Behavioral Event Interview Using STAR Technique in a Tertiary Care Hospital.”
• Varun: Consolation Prize in the Poster Competition under the Quality category for his study titled “A Study on Sales Return of Pharmaceutical and Surgical Items in IP Pharmacy of a Tertiary Care Hospital.”
